Nope, no baby yet. We did stay all night at the hospital this weekend, the contractions were every 5 minutes, but she wasn't progressing fast enough so they sent us home. Which means I'm still up in the air for this Saturday. I'll post on the board as soon as I know for sure.

Nope, no baby yet. We did stay the night at the hospital last week, but it was a false alarm.

The good news, I am planning to fly this Saturday, March 5th. But we might have to leave early, it all depends.

So tell your friends, flying this Saturday, $5 landing fee, hopefully we will stay the entire time, but if I'm not there you guys will know why.

Ricky, your wife is lazy. She should have given birth by now.

I'll be there and I'm bringing a couple of things to sell. I've still got that foam spitfire for $35, the Jimmy Wade SE5A ready to fly minus the receiver for $120, a small wood P-40 kit for $25 and some other random stuff.

I also have a nitro car starter for $35 if anyone is interested.

I'll bring it all tomorrow!

I can get pics tomorrow. Its a pretty large foam model where the entire fuse is together except where the motor goes and the tail. It was designed for a nitro but would be awesome with a good sized electric. The wing is solid foam as well. If it doesnt sell tomorrow at the fly then I'll post pics.

Many many thanks to Ricky and Sammy for taking an hour and half of their night to set up my new heli. I will have to say the highlight wasnt that it flew...it was the chicken dance that it would do once you landed it. That was pretty funny to see.

Thanks again!!

We WILL NOT be flying this Saturday, March 12th and NOT flying next Saturday, March 19th. The school is closed for spring break and I have my hands full around the house...

Its a rebrand of the micro-warbirds from Cox. You can get them at Hobby King for less than $50 for everything except the receiver! It has a brushless motor and flies on a 2S 200mAh lipo.

It flies okay... A bit too fast for indoors, but would make a great combat plane!

Default We got TCA back!

Good news... I had a meeting with TCA this week and we are back in the gym for flying. After discussing it over with Rick and Ricky we have come up with a plan. We are going to stagger flying weekends. Saginaw one week and TCA the next. So this weekend we'll be flying in Saginaw.

The setup will be a little different for TCA. 6-10pm every other Sat night. We are going back to the way we used to fly. There will be no more time splitting and we are limiting helis to micro sized only. If everybody plays nice together it will work out well. If there are five 3d planes in the air then don't take your pretty Corsair up. On the other hand... If there is a scratch built, scale, p-61 in the air then don't get in it's way with an EPP 3D plane.

Please keep in mind that Trinity is a private christian school that is letting us fly there out of the goodness of their hearts. Occasionally teachers, and even the principal will drop in on us while we are there. We are charging $10 to fly and AMA IS required. 100% of the proceeds go to Trinity's scholarship fund. Of course no tobacco or alcohol is allowed on campus.

Hope the see everyone there.

Here is the original TCA thread with directions

Is the flying invite still open? Been tough flying foamy's in this wind lately. I am over in Benbrook.

Also Rick what is on the bottom of your transmitter? Looks like something that might help keep the transmitter from tilting. I need one of them.
