Thumbs up Flite Test - First Episode!!! F4F Wildcat Review

FLITE TEST
The Parkzone F4F Wildcat
REVIEW

This is a little show that we've been trying to get off the ground.
We'd love your feedback! If you'd like to see more shows like this please spread the word to help us get an audience.

FliteTest - Review of the Parkezone F4F Wildcat BNF

Key Features:
  • Ready to fly in minutes
  • Full 4-channel control (throttle, aileron, elevator and rudder)
  • 3S 11.1V 1300mAh Li-Po battery and balancing charger included
  • Spektrum™ AR500 DSM2™ 5-channel sport receiver installed
  • Powerful 480-size 960Kv brushless outrunner motor installed
  • Dual aileron servos for precise control
  • Battery compartment accommodates most 1800-2100mAh Li-Po packs (sold separately)
  • Scale details include realistic paint scheme, molded panel lines, simulated retractable landing gear and hand-painted pilot figure
  • Only requires a full range DSM2 aircraft transmitter (sold separately)
This is a sweet flying airplane! I wasn't expecting much when I bought it. Once I got in the air, it quickly became my favorite plane. It definitely helps to have some flight time under your belt before fliying this this one… it's fast! I recommend using the elevator and the rudder together to get a tight snap roll. Parkzone did a great job of building the power system (prop/motor/esc/battery). I find myself flying at 3/4 to full throttle a lot and nothing gets hot. If you love warbirds, and speed, I highly recommend this plane.

Nice review guys. I like the informal way you go about the vid. Both entertaining and informative. Look forward to more.Always a good idea to check controls for full free movement in right direction before flight which I'm sure you did off camera. I'm waiting for delivery of a Parkzone p51 Mustang bnf. Hope it flies as well as your Wildcat.

Default Flite Test - E-Flite Taylorcraft 450 - REVIEW

Flite Test - E-Flite Taylorcraft 450 - REVIEW
The original Taylorcraft is one of private aviation's most popular airplanes. E-flite's version of the Taylorcraft 450 ARF is an easy-to-assemble, scale parkflyer constructed of lightweight balsa/plywood. High wing placement makes it docile and gentle enough for most pilots. This replication of the clipped wing variant makes it aerobatic-capable so more advanced modelers can experiment with loops, rolls and inverted flight. Watch as Josh and Josh give their opinions of this very popular scale aircraft from E-flite.
Will this be the episode Josh Scott gets to fly?
AIRPLANE SPECS:

Motor Size: 450 or 480
Servos: 4 x sub-micro
Prop: APC 10x8E or APC 11x5.5E

Yes you guys are doing a great job and I enjoy the humor you try to instill in your reviews. Keep up the great work. don't for get to point out the negative aspects of a plane like it was suggested earlier.

Arrow Quicksilver - NEW Flite Test episode!

The greatly anticipated Quicksilver GT-700 is here... and we got it for its maiden flight! As far as we can tell, this is the first one that rolled off the line. This little replica is inspired from the classic Quicksilver recreational aircraft. You'll get to see Josh Bixler fly this aircraft for the first time! Scheduled release of this model will be November 29th, 2010.

You didn't mention the "incident" when he tried doing a loop.

I think he's going to have to have his "expert" license revoked.

After the crash caught on film for the F18 episode....

The show is great! I love it! The only recemendation I would have would be to do seprate videos that are more for the intermediate to advanced pilots. It seems to me like your videos are more targeted at begginers. Oh, and how compareable is the f4f to the t28? Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Guys, I have been able to get my hands on an "unlisted" video from the Flite Test guys.

It's a night flying music video, and it is awesome. There's some awesome air to air flying in this one. You want to see it.

Send me a PM, and I'll give you the link.
