I bought a Turnighy Plush 80A ESC. I have the Turnighy programming card. I tried to play around with it last night. I connected the esc to the card and powered up with no load ( no motor connected). I tried programming some music / sound. Did not work. Do I have to have the motor connected ?

Yes, because if you want to hear music, that is where the music and tones come from.
It can be any brushless motor though that can handle the input voltage. Cliff |
