I think this answers that question....

I encourage everyone to read all they can on my threads and others regarding these products. As is stated in my other threads... the AR6100 receivers are as sold by oomodels and others and the Orange receivers are made by Hobby King.

One of the reasons I offer these is the high rate of unusable receivers experienced by purchasers from Hong Kong. Of my last shipment of Orange receivers, one third of them failed my testing.

As stated by some of those who have purchased from me they save the time of waiting for a shipment from across the world and the hassle of returns in the very possible event of a bad one.

You decide what it's worth... so far of all I have sent out as tested and guaranteed... I have had to replace none of my customers purchases.

An immediate shipping with a written guarantee from an onshore vendor? Clone or not... you decide the worth.

As for a simple yes or no answer... I don't know if they are clones, copies or what. I do know what you do get for your $22 bucks though.

So the answer is that you don't know who makes them, but you are sure they aren't direct from Spektrum? If that is the case, then I would suggest you offer them as "Spektrum-Compatible".

No offense, but the answers provided seem dodgy. Maybe you don't intend it that way though...just a heads up from my end. I personally don't like buying from evasive people.

I was asking the question because I won't knowingly buy stolen watches, stolen cars, stolen stereo equipment, pirated software or even stolen RC gear.

Doesn't matter to me if its guaranteed or not or how good the "deal" is.

I know that doesn't bother a lot of people but it does me.
