Question Ringing in the new year?

Well, it is almost here.
2010 is almost out and 2011 is all ready to go. It seems as if 2010 was just getting warmed up, and now it is almost gone. WOW, what happened to this year. Time flys, I just wish I had more time to join in on the fun.

I plan on being at the field with my night flyer. I want to be in the air by 12:02 am. I hope to post a video before the rest of the club makes it out for the newyears day fly.

So, with all that said, How are you going to bring in the new year?

Ya Don I will be doing the same more than likely. I did my share of partying for the sake of the ball drop.

Andrew yours sounds like fun though never would of thought to ring in the New Year with a night flight.

Steve how well do the smoke bombs work on the plane. You are talking the ones you light and throw right? Do you have a metal holder on the plane so it doesn't burn the covering.
Sounds like you guys have way to much fun down there.

Well Andrew hope you make it to midnight to fly in the New Year power to ya.

Sounds like fun Andrew.

I'll be hitting the sack early too, 8 hour drive home from TN in heavy traffic on I-81 has me wiped out...

We watched the new years eve stuff on tv with friends until 12:00, went to bed shortly after, BUT today I am loading the truck and going down to the field for the annual New Years Day Fly In.
The air is so clear today that the only white stuff in the sky is Depron or EPO.

Thats the way a RC modeler should welcome the new year.
I hope I bring back as many airplanes, as I am going to take to the field.

Default New Year in Oslo Norway.

We celebrate the new year in the Wigeland Park
Flying our electrics round the Monolith. Drinking hot chocolate and eat cookies.
Nice friendly tradition and fun for the kids.
