Hope to fly her tomorrow. Wind should be no issue. "I hope" The motor can really push it, I had it on a hard floor, and I can see now it will launch from a flat surface, but I'll throw it first flight. Iam very impressed with this model..and the fact that you can get all parts at a very cheap price is sweet. My neighbor has one, and his son tows it up on a handline, about 100 feet, and it glides very nice with motor off. He did however, say you need to keep speed up on sharp tuns...makes sense!!

Cute little model..
Wings with such a narrow chord don't work efficiently (very low Reynolds number) so you will probably find that it has to fly faster than you might first imagine to make it's lift.

I bet it will be a lot of fun in any case.. good luck!

Default DX-220 maiden

Well, here is the maiden flight. Wind was breezy at 8 mph max...but she flew ok. Very quick to climb out, and half throttle keeps her level. Pull the throttle back, and she goes into a nice desent. Sorry the video poor. Will get a better one on a nice calm sunny day.

Yes, she will ROG...smooth surface and the throttle has enough to get her airborne!

Wow, she really scoots! Nice penetration there. Hey, what's all that white crap on the ground, mold? Strange-looking stuff.

That is one amazing plane! You'd never expect that kind of performance for the price. Great score!

RR: Something you guys will probably get before the years over..lol

Its quick, and has a pretty good glide to it. It needs throttle at the bottom of the landing. I really am impressed with this little thing. It solid, not flimsy at all. The blue light puts out a pretty good glow when the light conditions got to dark.
We flew it a few times more, until it was too darn dark to see it. YOU CAN loose this little gal, can't wait until we get a nice sunny day. BTW: There was 10 inches on the ground, it was 56 degrees today...was melting fast.

dude!! very cool, and the price is right!!! now i will go to the scale and measurement site to see how far 100 meters =.........328 ft isn't very far but with it size bing so small it visualy equales 1000'...lol.

i will be watching for more info on this lil glider to see if it's going to be found in the back of the car with the micro p-51. always room for another micro or 2[or 12]

Unfortunately no longer free shipping on this puppie, still bought one as looks so cool, Hope to fly when winds are calm, would like to try indoors as gym but might be too tight for this puppie as does move.

Short Close up clip of the neat looking flyer.

Great buy still!! Hope you get a chance to fly her, and I would fly her outside first, I think you could fly in the Gym, but you really need to see how she handles with only T&R. She will keep your hands busy for a bit. We are going to do a tow with mine as soon as we get a nice day. That should be interesting!

Yes you want calm weather as flys alot better, two flights so far outside in winter weather and it handled rather well, you want throttle on the turns, infact once turned the wrong way with throlle off, so keep the motor going, tho again half throttle it does very well. Goes a little quick so will be doing alot of inputs in the gym today. Fingers crossed it makes it. For what it is a very niftly little flyer.

Doesn't glide like the conventional glider, I cut power for the landing into a breeze stayed mostly level, puffed it just before touch down and came in sweet. Its going to be fun....Sure in the gym without any breeze will take abit more low throttle to come in correctly...
