AR6110 vs AR6200 for Parkzone pj's

I've been using a AR6200 for my T-28 and the AR6110e for my depron scratchbuilds for about a year now. I am currently putting together a gas plane that needs the full range 6200 and was thinking of trying the smaller 6110 on the T-28, anyone think this is a bad idea? I've never had any issues on the foamies and the T-28 doesnt get much farther when flying, just wondering if anyone has done this with good/bad results.

I dont think you should have any problems using the AR6100E receiver in the foamy T-28, but to tell you the truth, I think i would just leave the AR6200 in the T-28 and get another AR6200 full range receiver for your gas Plane, you just can not have enough full range receivers LOL, And Welcome to Wattflyers, Take care and have fun, Chellie

I've never flown a T-28 with anything but an AR6100E - and I have never had problems. Sure, I'm working on Trojan # 5 - but control loss has never been a factor in a crash.

AFAIK the AR6110 is the same Rx but with the added voltage drop indicator (red flashing LED indicator) and a different form factor...

If it were up to me I'd say you are fine.

I have also scooped up a few of the 4-Ch Spektrum-compatibles from HK for use in my smaller Depron and EPP 3D foamies - you know, stuff that stays close - also never had a single issue.

Something to consider if you want to save a few sheqels!
