nheppner81, I just moved to Abby from Surrey. I still sometimes fly at my old club, Burnaby Lake Flyers, but have joined the Fraser Valley RC Flyers in Chilliwack, 30 min. from my place, and occasionally go over the river to fly at the new RCFCBC field, just west of Mission, or the Mission Wings field, at Hatzic Lake, both of which are only 15 - 20 min. away. The Fraser Valley RC club is almost entirely electric only, with lots of scale models, gliders, and helis, along with some of the pioneer electric modellers in the country. There is also a new glider field in Chilliwack, near the Promontory Ridge development, where a lot of E-heli pilots fly, too. For details and contact info, PM me, and we can talk there, or by phone, if you prefer.
Cheers, Brad |
