Hi:
I found a Mini DV on Amazon for $19.95 but they don't tell you that you need a mini SD card to record video. I found one for $10 at Staples so the price was under $30. It included free shipping which was nice. It comes as a small package that will velcro nicely on my Easy Star. Haven't flown it yet, too windy, but hope to this week. It test out well and is easy to operate. Hope this helps, Jack

Hi:
I am using the camera with Windows 7, it came with a mini cd and I just put that into the computer and it worked OK. Still haven't put it on the plane but it works with the computer. Maybe you should check out what the format of the output from the camera and make sure it is compatible with your video software. Jack

I just bought one off of hobbycity that uses a microSD card. The previous poster was right about taking the card out and using a reader and it will work on any version of windows then.

![]() I purchased two mini cams. One to put on the bottom of the aircraft to shoot a vertical (DOWNWARD) shot (gum cam) and the other to place on the wing to shoot oblique (side looking) shots. Both use a micro SD card. Both work on Windows XP and Windows 7 )I have two lap tops running XP and 7). Got them on E-bay from the "Far East" and the delivery time was about ten days. Here are the searchs to use on ebay: New 1GB Micro SD TF Flash Memory Card 1G for Cell Phone Seller: Memory-year 1.99 + 3.99 shipping New Spy Car Key Chain Camera DVR Covert Video Recorder Seller: linjiechong 1.24 + 6.54 shipping Mini Spy Gum Hidden DV DC video Cam Camera Recorder DVR Seller: linjiechong 1.35 + 8.99 shipping So for under 30 bucks you can get two camaras, two 1gig SD cards, and some velcro (2.97 at Wal Mart) to stick them onto your plane. Me, I'm gonna use my ParkZone T-28D as the platform. A nice, stable platform at half power and the extra weight of the "video equipment" is under 4 ozs. Now I can get some aerial photography in while I'm boreing holes in the sky. ![]() Hope this helps. PS - Anyone know of an inexpensive TV transmission/receiving system... "Live, from ------, it's the Saturday Afternoon Flyer!!!" Gotta love it! |
