I have been told by the person in charge of this particular company, that they are more than happy to donate to the prize table. This prize will be my grand prize for the event. I think it will be an easy sell at the event, for pilots and spectators as well. Some of you know what it is and some don't. For those of you who don't, well I'm sorry. You will have to attend the event to find out.
My current list of event sponsors,
After dark LED prod, Hobbico/Great Planes, Hobby Town USA, Higher Plane Productions

A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is a picture of some of the prizes that will be on my prize table. I have more than a few that I have not recieved yet. I also have some gift certificates that are not in the picture.
I would like to thank everyone who came out to the first annual Maryland Electric Day Spectacular. It was a perfect day weather wise. We had 32 registered pilots from 5 states and the District of Columbia. We sold 716 raffle tickets. For a first time event it went very well. As a first time CD, I was scard out of my mind. I did not know what to expect. I am very happy with how everything went. Everyone had a good time and we raised some money for the University of Maryland Hospital for Children.
It was just a bit short of what I was hoping for, but we raised a total of $1,179.00. Not bad for a first run event. I am hoping to double it next year.
