This Seabee was converted to an electric twin.
Wing span 72 inches.
Sheeted foam core wing.
With two AXI 2826/12 motors
Props and spinners.
All servos and wiring installed.
You must provide ESCs and batteries. $250.
You will need to add some water proofing material around the lower edges of the windows and to the wing saddle. You can see the complete conversion article at: http://www.electricflyermagazine.com/seabee-page1.html
If you read that, please keep in mind that it no longer has retracts. The wheels are now flipped up and down by hand for either water or land flying.
Pick up in Long Beach, CA. Or will ship by Grey Hound anywhere in USA $65.
Looks like a steal Henry. You must be like me, and have to darn near give things away to sell them. I'd keep it if I were you, but it's a great deal for someone.
Yes, Bill, would rather keep it, but I need a new transmission for my van. I don't understand how some people think about value. Hell, the two AXI motors through Hobby Lobby sell for a 100 bucks apiece, plus shipping.
When an airplane sells, I edit and add the word "SOLD" to the posting, but I don't know how to change the heading from "For Sale" to "Sold." After I sell an airplane I don't want to mislead folks into thinking it is still for sale. So how do I change the heading of the post?
