I'm not sure what you mean by 4.0?
A quick internet check shows your air plane came with a single 7 cell 8.4 volt 2100 mAh nimh pack. Is that what your manual shows? Do you know what kind of motor you have on the airplane? Is it original? If by 4.0 you mean a 4 cell lipo, then the quick answer would be NO. That is a 14.8 volt battery pack and will quickly burn out your motor. Don't hook it up until you are sure of what you have and what you can use. Please post some more information. Cliff |
