a little dress'in up and some wing-wires to stiff'in her up a might would set her off well,
A tail skid on her ( a wheel back there for better ground handle'in )looks needed, The cowls not very scale but other than that she's only 98$ RTF which is less that a BP profile ARF! bubsteve |

Yes I love my GP SE5a , and this HK is a larger biplane , 43.3" WS , and the covering job looks super , so even if it is not very close to a SE5a in looks , it is a $95 dollar arf biplane , but I wonder about all the details of the plane ?
We all know that the GP bipes are flyers , and have reviews to research them if we want to . I have not purchased ANYTHING from HK , myself . Hope someone here buys one and reviews it so we would know about it . thanks And if you get one and crash it , send it to degreen so we can really find out all about it ![]() And now I see that HK has the 43.3" WS and a 55.4" WS also . ![]() Now I am really wondering now

The top wing on one of them seems to be shrt also. I have bought electronics from Hobbyking and have had good luck. Flitetest.com does reviews for Hobbyking stuff. Maybe they'll do one soon.

Flying is just a question of money. How high would you like to go?

A bit off topic for a quick q&a re hobbyking. I just ordered for the first time from them.Order was 27.00 and in a checked box they showed 30% USD customs. My order is being shipped to Canada as a gift. I sent them a quickie question and the girl mentioned it would show as customs value 2.7..
What experiences have you had when your parcel arrives... Thanks |

I went to buy a plane from them, but when I saw the cost of shipping I decided to empty my cart. Your right Steve kinda like buying on ebay you get over charged for the shipping they can make a quick buck of the shipping cost.

Well the shipping was 3.99 from HK to mid Canada so I didn't think that was bad at all..It was the customs declaration % I didn't understand 10,20,30 40 etc%. Oh well I'll find out sometime down the road. Thnx

The customs declaration % is what you want to have shown to customs. 30% declaration means only paying 30% of what you should be paying to customs. In Canada we don't have to worry too much about it cause toys and hobby equipment are exempt from duty.

Thanks for the info.. I ordered 2 orangex rx's @7.00ea and 1 sat rx..at 11.83.Shipping for 0-100gms showed 3.99 registered..i had to add min 10% customs and total came 30.?? usd. I paid with M/c as I don't have a paypal acct..havent checked M/C yet but was notified this am that my order was shipped from their warehouse yesterday with tracking #. Must be on the slow boat as it says up to 45 days...maybe shipped on an old post WW1 100mph postal plane...
Sorry if I side tracked this thread it was just a Hobbyking inquiry.. Speaking of the SE5a I will make some inq's in the Electrifly thread re that plane..but keep an eye on this one as the the build of it. |
