Default Tower Hobbies P-51 Mustang RxR

just assembled the P-51 from Tower and i have to say it dont get any easier than this folks ! and the fit and finish is awesome ! the only thing i didnt care for was the cheesy looking nose cone so i repainted it a silver metalic and it matches perfect. i ponderd this purchase for a few weeks then i got a 20 dollor off coupon and so i pulled the trigger and man im glad i did. me and this bird is going to have a lot of fun this summer ! get this baby ! i promise you wont regret it ! best 100 bucks ive spent in a long time.

Will it hold a 2200 mah 3s pack? I have been thinking about ordering that plane.

yes, 2200mah 3C's is what im using. get it, you wont regret it . shop around the internet for your best deal. it was on saleat Tower for 114.95 and they sent me 20 off coupon so i orderd it. there is a review on RCG that says the electrics are electrifly but the batt connector on the ESC is a Super Tiger. and the motor looks to to be a Super Tiger also. if you use dean plugs on your batteries order a adapter from Tower when you order your plane. >>> http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXXGN6&P=ML

I would just change the plug to an ec3. Thanks for letting me know the battery will fit. Do you have any pictures? Have you flown it yet?

Have you flown the parkzone p-51? If so, how comparable are is this one to it? I am kind of inclined to go for the parkzone bird, because after battery and receiver for the TH bird, they are about the same price.
