I would like to replace the sealed NiCad Battery Pack (8xAA) in my Spektrum DX6 transmitter with a LIPO. It appears none of my 3S Lipos (1600mah, 1800mah, 2200mah) will fit in the battery compartment of the DX6 due to their width. I have an assortment of HC Flightmax, Eflite and Sky lipos, and all appear to be abit too wide. The existing sealed NiCad pack is 100mmx28mmx28mm leaving very little, if any room to spare in the radio battery bay. If you have purchased a Lipo that you know for a fact DOES fit in the battery bay, can you please post the brand/size and source, it would be very helpful. Thanks, Ken |

Check this one out and check the deminsions for the battery and what you have for space in you TX it fits in the DX7 might fit yours. I have one in my Futaba 7c and love not having to charge up all the time. Read the product review from people glanced quick at them that is why I know it fits the DX7.

This is right from the battery site and what it fits.
Compatible with Jr/Spektrum/Futaba radio transmitter. Highly recommended for Spektrum DX5, DX6, DX7, Airtronics RDS 8000, Futaba 7C and more! Serious Power for Serious Hobbyists! The Blue LiPo batteries have been in the RC industry for a while now and is very well-known. Don't believe us? You can google it or youtube it and see for yourself. |

Of course the DX5 is 4 dry or NiMh cells, so it won't work in that radio. You kinda get what you get with them.
