Default WOW! What a great site!

I am real new to this site having just registered yesterday. I just read "canada94''s first post and could not agree with him more. From the tone of the responses to questions I have read on this site, they are NOT condescending and but helpfull instead - like it should be. This is really refreshing.

I am new to RC flying having soloed last October in my back yard, first with a Flyzone SkyFlyMax and decided maybe I should use my HZ Champ to start. (My wife says I am too old to climb trees)

I now have over 2 hours on the Champ and am anxiously awaiting the white stuff's melting.

Great site habited by great RC'ers.

Welcome to WattFlyer!!!

You'll find the Champ is a great micro and a good bird to learn 3 channel basics on.

When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, in his sleep...... Not screaming like the passengers in his plane.

Thanks to you for your service to the country. I wore olive drab in 1957-58 chasing howitzers and also did 33 years of recreational boating on the great lakes. That's over now and I need something to do on shore.

I have only spent 2 days on this site and liking it more and more.

Yes the little plane is a lot of fun - when the wind is calm. Looking forward to all that white stuff melting away. But did give me lots of time on the sims. Anxious to get to the 4 channel stuff though.

Thanks but your iceberg picture and location to seem to match. I was in Florida in February it was cold but I did not see any ice - maybe in my drink.

Actually, we are in the Mason County Custer - near Ludington. Anxiously waiting the snow melting. Got a little more today. I first flew last fall in my field. Looking forward to more learning without the tree climbing.

HZ Champ + Wattflyer = must get more planes. MORE PLANES. Bigger planes. Must tell everyone to buy planes.

There is no better combination for becoming addicted to/obsessed with this hobby.
