Default axi 2212/34

i got a axi 2212-34 and i dont know what to do with it - 100 watts, means under 10oz. auw, its heavy, at a tad over 60 grams - why did they make it? much lighter motors do the same thing

Something like that will work well in a 3D foamy... Like something from Depron West www.dwfoamies.com

Electricity... It's not just for light bulbs anymore.

I flew a 54 inch oldtimer Powerhouse with mine on 3s1p lipo swinging a 8 or mabe 9 inch prop for nice lazy flights for 15 to 20 minutes per charge.

Many 400 sized applications for that motor!

I agree they are fantastic high quality motors that produce excellent power.

150w should be no problem with this motor. I have used them with great success on several models.

What type of model you after?

It's the recommended brushless for the Miss Stik Sr. (+/- 20oz./54"WS) which was originally designed for a brushed 400 geared motor. As another pointed out, it is a good upgrade for the 400 size birds.

It's the one I got for my MS, and I'm dying to see how she performs with it.
