Default HobbyKing Shipping Delay

I ordered some things from HobbyKing on 2-26 and this is what USPS has been saying all month. I don't think Hong Kong was heavily effected by what is going on in Japan, but wanted to know if anyone else is having difficulty getting their products.

Detailed Results:
Foreign International Dispatch, March 10, 2011, 9:22 am, HONG KONG AIR MAIL CENTRE, HONG KONG Origin Post is Preparing Shipment Foreign Acceptance, March 03, 2011, 7:28 pm, HONG KONG

The Chinese new year was early Feb. I know from past experiences they take off for a month or something like that to celebrate. Not a lot gets done over there around the new year.

From what I can tell from your shipping information, your parcel left Hong Kong on March 10th, it should of reached the states by now. Is that information on the USPS.com website? or from the HK post website?

Any time I have ordered from HobbyKing, my orders arrive in Canadian Cutoms within 3 days of leaving HK for destination country.

It is from the USPS.com website. I also was assuming the same, which is why I am starting to get a little worried that my shipment was lost.

Ive ordered several item over the last month or so and had em all at my door in under 10 days. Chinese new years is long over with. Something else is going on. It may be that customs refused it and it was sent back. Thats happened to me a couple of times and tracking never shows that.
in fact i got something coming from nitroplanes thats been in transit between california and canada for 6 days now. Probably the same thing.

Should I wait longer or try to contact someone? How do I even contact someone about this?

First thing to do is contact hobbyking. As the shipper they are the only ones that the shipping companies will deal with. Hobbyking will start a claim with the shipping company to trace the package. After that it is a wait and see situation unfortunatly. After that the only option is to contact your credit card company and file for a charge back if you dont receive you item. You should be able to reach customer support online at the hobbyking website at this time as their business hours are during our overnight hours.

I knew that if I just brought the topic up on Wattflyer, everything would fix itself.

via USPS.com:
"Your item arrived at 4:02 am on March 23, 2011 in OMAHA, NE 68112."

Got 3 boxes in the last few days so stuff is starting to come through after the new years break. Good plan never to order somthing you need really quick from China.

The Chinese New Year is also a great consideration. Never even thought about it.
