EFlite Aeronca Champ Flight Characterists

I am considering purchasing a New EFlite Aeronca Champ. It is fully completed with all servos and ready to fly. I am a proficient pilot and and in the intermediate stage to advanced. Id like some inputs on how it flys and and plus and minus information. It looks like a great flying airplane. Thanks for any information.

You really can't go far wrong with a plane like the Cub. You should find it thoroughly reliable - whoevers model it is!

The airplane is a Aeronca Champ made by EFlite. It has the recommended setup as EFlite recommends. Its not a Cub but similar with the highwing. It should fly ok. I just read some reviews about it and would like some positive information about the landing gear and how it fly from a grass runway. Thanks.

Champ, Cub, Cessna, all quite similar with the Cub probably the most docile and the Champ and Cessna pretty much on a par, though avoid the heavier ones. Wing loading makes a big difference to the way a model flies. Too heavy and any of them can start to get nasty.
For that reason I normally fly on the smaller power systems - but I build all my own very light anyway. Having said that you need a little power in hand 'just in case'.
But there must be threads on all the available ARFs somewhere on the forum.
Have you tried the 'search' function at top right of the window?
