Default Foil tape for MSR repairs - ugly but strong and lightweight

I LOVE foil tape. As an MSR owner I broke 4 sets of landing gear in my first 4 days. I bought one last set of landing gear but this time I wrapped the entire gear with 1/4" strips of foil tape - virtually unbreakable now! I even broke the carbon fiber landing gear in multiple places - taped her back together with foil tape. I broke my canopy right in two - taped her back together with foil tape. I haven't managed to pop the end cap off the tail motor yet and it will never pop off because I used (you guessed it) foil tape to hold it in place. I even foil taped my foil taped landing gear right to the chassis mounts so it will never pop off. I'll post a picture tomorrow. It's kinda ugly but practical and adds hardly any weight at all. I love foil tape and hate spending money on flimsy parts. Just wanted to share this with y'all.

Default Here's the pictures

I work too hard for my money and as looks are not important but functionality and strength are, here's what my MSR looks like. It was tricky to tape the landing gear to the front chassis mount while the main motor was installed but because the foil tape is so thin I was able to use an Xacto knife to press it onto the mount. You can also see my taped up canopy and where I cut away part of the canopy as it was originally about 1mm from the swashplate servo linkage. Like I said, it's ugly but I intentionally dropped my MSR from ceiling height onto carpet a few times and the landing gear will not break. Also there is a picture of my tail motor mod which is stronger than electrical tape and lighter than shrink tube.
