Default 12' telemaster alternative

I was considering building a 12' Telemaster Kit from hobby lobby, but it has been out of stock for months now and it does not look like it is going to be available anytime soon. I was hoping to find a similar plane with about the same wingspan and general characteristics. Can someone recommend an alternative? It can be a kit or just plans and I would like it not to be a giant scale plane, the boxier the better .

You might try here as well for the large Telemaster.

Thanks to Mike, Old Fart and Hank for your replies. I guess now I have the trouble of deciding which one to choose.

The big stick and the SFK do look nicer than the telemaster although they are a little more expensive. Ill go and check my wallet...

I was really close to pulling the trigger on a Stick 50 at one time... then Slope Soaring lured me to the Dark Side....

I live outside the US (Guatemala), so I have to use a courier service based in Florida who receives my packages and then ships them to me. I need something compact and as light as possible because they charge me on a weight and volume basis.

I regret I'm not near Massachusetts, since it is a really good offer, the kit goes for $346 and the ARF for $1,000 or so.

Thanks

I saw the new ARF Senior Telemaster Plus and 12 ft. ARF at SEFF recently and they are really nice. They are made by a different builder than the kits and have new features.

Hey now,
Coming in from left field here. Why not just scratch one up? Should be simple enough. Big box fuse, flat bottom "Hershey bar" wing, flat bottom airfoiled stab. I mean you have the basic dimensions you could all but free hand it. Remember, if it looks about right it'll fly about right.
It'd be a lot cheaper too, only thirty to fifty buxcworth of wood and a coupla three rolls of money-cote...

I did passed through my mind to make a plane from scratch, the only thing that kept me from doing so was the fear of the wing failing in mid air due to structural failure for guesstimating badly. Maybe if I can get my hands on some plans of a plane of 80" of wingspan. The biggest plane I have plans for is for a Kadet Seniorita, which i think is not big enough to blow up since it is less than half the wingspan I was aiming for. Though it would be nice to have a super Senior...
