I believe that is because the CX2 does not have a heading lock gyro. That gyro is called a "rate gyro" and those drift a little. You can fix it completely by getting the 3-n-1 control unit for the CX3 and installing it in your CX2.

Yes, they look the same. The CX2 uses a 3-n-1 unit with this part number (EFLH1023) that is $40. The CX3 uses a 3-n-1 unit with this part number (EFLH2001) that is $45.
I had a CX2 a while back that I upgraded to the CX3 3-n-1 unit and truthfully i didn't notice that much of a difference. At that point I was pretty new into the hobby, though, so had I had more experience I may have been able to tell a bigger difference. |

The tail trim tends to drift as the battery voltage drops.
If you finally get the gyro set right, you go from all trim one way to all the other way during a flight. Just a trait of that heli. |

Helicopters don't really fly.......
They're just so ugly, that the earth repels them. |

I fixed the toilet bowl effect, flybar to tight..so you have to keep on the tail rotor all the time..no fun to fly straight
