It looks like it just floats!

I was surprised at how well the body of the plane resonates sound.

You were making some smooth touch downs, but it was echoing right through the airframe.

I wonder if the shock absorber landing gear or different tires would fix that.

Self proclaimed dictator of the Flite Test fan club.

Good observation, it bothers me a bit too...

I think the wheels are more to blame than anything. They are solid foam. I'm going to get a nice set of hollow rubber Cub wheels and tires for it. I think that will help that resonating sound a lot.

I remember watching, and thinking, oh, it's the asphalt, if he would land on the grass, it would be quieter, then you did, and it wasn't.

I agree, I think the balloon tires would really fit the bill here.
