Default Video Cam Success on Champ

I had my first success attaching an 808 keycam to my Champ this am. Took 3 tries...1st time had great height...got back home and no video...pressed wrong button. Second time had a partially charged lipo...and quick stall. Then attained success on 3rd try. With the altitude 7200 ft and weight of keycam could maybe get to 200 ft but success nevertheless! I am happy about my ever improving skills.

Wow! That's impressive. At 15 grams the 808 video camera weighs half as much as the plane. Flying with it has to severely alter the flight characteristics, even if you were flying in my soup here at sea level! Good show!

Now fess up. We want to see the video.

Well done! The plane didn't seem terribly happy with the extra weight though.

Default 806keycam

It was an 808 keycam bought on eBay for about $12. Velcro to sides of cam and bottom of champ along cg aft of wheelbase.

You, sir, are ready for that biplane! That Champ was NOT HAPPY carrying 50% of its weight in payload and you did an excellent job of keeping her under control. I noticed that you don't have the vibration problem that I've had with my Slow Stick motion blurring the video. Very good video there.
