Default ESKY 2.4 ghz sticky aileron/elevator gimble

I have the ESKY 6 channel 2.4 ghz from Hobbypartz($32) and the aileron gimble feels like it sticks a little when I use it. Has anyone ever sprayed silicon spray into a transmitter gimble ? I have never ran into this issue before in over twenty + years and many transimitters. I hate to open it since it has the PC connection on the back and inspect the springs.

Thats great that it worked for you too, i dont think a little WD40 will hurt anything, I fixed my spray mop with some WD40 last night, the pump on it was sticky, so i took off the soap bottle and sprayed some WD40 into the pump, I think the soap just got built up on the pump, it worked great now its the type that has the spray handle on the top, and there is a linkage that goes to the bottom spray pump, i just sprayed everything with WD40 and it works great now, i just had to flush it out with water after i was done, i did not want any WD40 to get on the floor and have people streaking by LOL, take care and have fun, Chellie
