DX6i elevator range problem

Having trouble getting full positive deflection on elevator. Monitor display agrees with what I see on elevator servo.

Not trying to do anything fancy with mixing or expo. Just trying to get DX6i to provide straight 4 channel function as a starting point

1 What would affect full scale throw of elevator in positive direction?

2 Is there a "reset all" function I should try?

3 Can someone confirm that they get full plus/minus deflection on elevator on their DX6i

Just checked mine, and with TRAVEL ADJ and SUB TRIM at default (100% and 0, respectively) my elev indicator on the monitor page only moves 2/3 up/down the scale. I think that's normal. You could try to increase the travel adj to greater than 100%, just be sure to not reach the servo's mechanical limits.

So does anyone see 100% positive deflection on monitor? Seems like something else is being mixed in that is limiting travel. (haven't found any discussion or info in manual that explains why it would be any different than aileron that has symmetrical Adjustment range.

Mine does not show 100% never has. My elevator on all models are deflecting full.

To restate : the monitor display never shows full scale but the elevator shows full deflection.

My DX7 only goes 2/3 on the monitor as well. And there's a reason for that. The marker on the scale around 2/3 represents 100% travel. Now, you can adjust your max travel on yout tx from 0% to 150%, so the area beyond the 2/3-mark is used to display travel greater than 100%.

So what you (and everybody else) is seeing is perfectly normal and the way it was designed to work.

Why is this different from aileron and rudder that show centered stick position and symmetrical full scale up / down operation ?

Are you giving the full story here, cbatters? Isn't this the same problem you discussed in that other thread, where with everything set in neutral your elevator indicator isn't in the middle?

Correct. Stick in middle and all trims set to neutral does not result in elevator display in middle. If other owners of DX6i have display in center on elevator there is something wrong with my DX6i. ?(hw or sw)
