Default Futaba 8U RX & Modul Issues

I have a radio with some issues.

First my radio is a Futaba FP-T8UAF

I have another Modul for my micro rx for my 450 bird works fine.
And I also have another modul FP-TP-FM (CH 24) 72.270
Also another RX RCD3200 (Fut) hitec Dual Conversion. Ultra Narrow Band. It has a (CH 24) Crystal, 72.270 I Can't get them to work together, I was told my modul was not dual conversion, is the reason.

The TX has (2) top switchs broke off. See Pic Below.

Does anyone happen to have two swtichs laying around collecting dust?
And Maybe a Modul that will get my other RX working?

I'm also trying to build a rappy 30 v2. And would love to put this RCD3200 in it when I get it done. So any help would be appreciated.

As a side note.I'd be willing to give my modul as a gift for someone who might have the correct modul collecting dust and two switchs.

If I don't reply back if this post go's down in the pit over time. You can always get me at my email.
Thanks

The RCD3200 should work fine with the FP-TP-FM module. You need the correct Hitec DC crystal in the receiver (not just any old Ch24 crystal) and the transmitter MOD needs to be set to PPM not PCM.

BTW dual conversion does not apply to transmitters or their modules. FM transmitters work with either dual conversion or single conversion receivers with no problems. So whoever told you that was the problem didn't know much about radios .

So it should be a Hitec Crystal?

I know plenty about 2.4gHz, buit not much about FM. I had to downgrade. Well sorta, had to let go of all my good gear a couple years ago. And I had to get back in with what I could aford. Thanks Mr. for your time and expertease.

That receiver will not work correctly with that crystal.
Make sure to use a Dual conversion (blue tipped) Hitec crystal in that receiver and the equivalent Futaba transmitter crystal in the Futaba module:

Crystals are no longer interchangeable between brands, contrary to popular belief they are totally different in cut, overtone value and a few other specs. e.g. Hitec DC RX crystals on 35.36 & 40MHz have a frequency 10.7MHz ABOVE the nominal frequency whereas Futaba DC RX crystals are 10.7MHz BELOW nominal frequency. Hitec FM TX xtals are cut at half nominal frequency whereas the Futaba FM TX xtals are cut at 1/3 nominal frequency.
With single conversion RX, whilst you may get reasonable results in good conditions with Hitec xtals in Futaba RX, Hitec crystals must be used in Hitec RX for optimum results. Futaba single conversion RX crystals may appear to work but with proven less range and glitching, especially noticeable in damp weather or wet ground. Local radio technician was surprised but ran a number of tests with result he is also now convinced that there is a significant difference in the crystals as has also been confirmed by the local crystal manufacturer who supplies USA military and others requirements.
