Default Finally! (Successful Mini Super Cub Flight Video)

Yeah...I finally had a successful flight with my HZ Mini Super Cub. Modified the Battery with a 800 mAh Lipo taped to the bottom. Seems like the stock batteries would not hold a charge long enough to get airborne. Video is 4 minutes with enough altitute to see Big Bear Lake in the distance.

Very nice video! Which pencam did you use? The stab looks slightly twisted... What was the capacity of the original, stock battery?

Nice video thanks for sharing. Enjoyed it. The view looks beutiful. Looked like a lot of plane hungry trees around

Happy flying may your crashes be limited and if they are not limited let them be cool.

Yes the tree's are hungry. Swallowed up my HZ Champ on my first day of trying to fly...but the trees gave her back to me after a week. I just have to wait for those dead calm mornings to thread my plane thru the slot. Been having difficulty with the elevation to get my fleet airborne...but think I got the mini cub tweeked to do so now. Hope to capture another yet higher video another day soon...with better views of the lake!

Nice!

Hmmm... I bet my T28d would tolerate my Kodak EasySport's weight.
I have to give this a try, sometime

Battery was a 300 mAp originally. Think the original batteries were damaged though as they would not take a full charge...are a bit bloated (from shipping??) and would cut out after launch. The 800 mAh give it lasting power to allow the plane to climb!
