Default 30 Amp Paraboard

$19.00 SHIPPED

30 AMP PARABOARD FOR CHARGING 6 BATTERIES AND BALANCNG @ THE SAME TIME

This device is to be used with a balance charger to simultaneously charge multiple lithium batteries in parallel. By this method you can significantly save time on battery charge process.
The principle and practices of parallel charging lithium batteries have been well discussed in the forums on RC Groups. This method has been proved to be a safe and efficient way to charge LiPo batteries, and is being widely accepted by more and more RC hobbiests all over the world.
Parallel charge can save your time significantly. If you charge four batteries at the same time, the charge current is four times of that you used for a single pack, and you need only approximately 1/4 of the charge time to charge every battery separately. Similarly, if you charge six batteries at the same time, the charge current is six times and time is only 1/6.
Each board has six set balance ports, from 2S-6S (except for the HP type that does not have 5S ports), and six T-plugs. Since these ports and connectors are arranged in parallel, a T-plug and a balance port can be randomly matched for battery charge. These ParaBoards can be used for charging up to six batteries at the same time.
ParaBoard is made of selected high quality components. The PCB board is made of two ounce copper and the main power circuit is heavily tinned to allow the use of high current. ParaBoard products have been fully tested under 30 A continuous current, and is safe to be load at 40A for a short time (10 - 30 minutes).

This board can be used for the following brands of LiPo batteries:

Nope, not if you want balancing: it is a JST connector, NOT HYPERION.

The one shown connected has a different spec from the one on the right, which is described below it!

If you want a Hyperion version, go to epbuddy.com or progressiverc.com and order one.

Apples to apples, oranges to oranges.

(Note the markings on each board identify them as being different.)

Yes, you are and so am I-sorry, I should have been more specific: YOU must modify the lead between the charger and the paraboard, OR call David at Progressive and see if he'll make one up for you.

As I recall, "Polyquest" and "Hyperion" share the same balance tap, type, but be sure and ask David.

Both sites list Polyquest type boards, with the mains connector of your choice-now, again, you must make up the cable between the charger and the paraboard, unless they are compatible with an Icharger-again, ASK DAVID!

Electrodude -. The paraboard will work with the hyperion duo with no problem. I use 2 of the on mine right now. What Spad is probably referring to is what kind of batteries do you plan on charging. If your looking to charge "Hyperion" batteries no the PCB on the board will not support that. But if your charging turnigys, blue lipo, gen ace it will work fine.

If it does not work I will gladly refund your money once I receive it back but trust me it will work.

BTW: You can check my feedback under the same name on rcgroups and you will see how much of stand up guy I am.

Spad -- What leads need to be modified ?? Hyperion Duo is plug and play. Super duo you need to shave off a bit off the cable going into the balancing plug but it works fine.

I use one of these and it works great, just always make sure you are using the same size batteries when parallel charging and a good idea to have them all at a fairly close beginning voltage. Great product, and has saved me hours of charging!

It's fine to use varying capacities, so long as the cells are "about" the same voltage.
