Be sure to specify tabs on your cells. Soldering directly to the battery itself requires a special soldering flux. Standard solder flux results in a very difficult solder job, even with a 100 Watt temperature regulated soldering iron. I did specify tabs, that's the only way to go. Let me know if you'd like info on that special flux. This stuff allows instant solder "wetting" of the A123 cells. |
