My old JR Propo from 1980's has D/R switches that are position down for FULL / High rate, position up for REDUCED rate. My later computer 2.4Ghz radios have the D/R switches opposite way... I can via program change them to same - but then default switch position is necessary when switching on radio ... meaning D/R default would then be reduced position. mmmmmmmmm interesting. I will be flying both radios and this will be an item I shall have to take care with ....... |

Not real sure what you're saying here. On my JR9303, there's no High or Low, just a 0 and 1. I choose to make "up" the high rate (or "forward" for the rudder)

Now the radio has a trick when switching on that all switches must be in default position - or you get error and it doesn't boot-up. Flick offending switch to its default and radio powers up. The default position for switches are UP. This is opposite to the old JR in terms of HIGH rate position. If I program the computer radio to agree with same - then the default on switching on would be reduced rate. |

Hmm, wonder if the 9X and 9303 have slightly different software. The only time I get that error message is if I have a Mix active - it doesn't care what my Aileron, Elevator or Rudder rates are set at.
Noticed you're in Latvia - spent some time there with the State Department converting the consulate in Riga into an Embassy. |
