Default Help! I can't decide! Fokker or Pfalz?

Ok...I am lining up some winter builds...and I am looking at purchasing an Aerodromerc kit. Here is what I am looking at...

Either a Pfalz E1 EZ build...36" wingspan, weighs 15 oz, calls for a 280 to 300 motor, 3 channel

Or

A fokker EIII 25" 4oz calls for GPS IPS motor 3 channel

Or

A Fokker Dr1 24" 7 oz GWS IPS 4 channel

Or

A Pfalz E1 36" 17oz w/ GWS 300 CD gearbox 4 channel

I like to fly slow...and my two favorite planes for R&R are the HZ Champ and e-flite Fokker. Just want to add something different to the mix. Near the home there is a small park that I fly both the Champ and the Fokker!

Suggestions are appreciated!

IMO: IPS motors dont last. if you can find another replacement, that plane would be cool!

Pfalz E1 36" 17oz w/ GWS 300 CD gearbox 4 channel "SWEET! GWS 300 series is a nice motor system, get yourself extra gears, they wear out fast. Get a 350/380 motor ! 10x4.7 prop works well with them. 10amp GWS pico ESC. Advantage hobby has what you need. Call them for the right setup.

Aerdrome kits are very nice!

Every one has a Fokker, get a Pfalz. First thing I do when I get a plane with a brush motor and gear box is find a brushless motor and replace it.

Now for my last stunt, a forward flip on landing.

Chel...you aregoing to be mad at me...I bought the Stevens Aero DH-53. It is in between my Champ and Fokker. Forgive me? You are right though...the larger planes are very stable. Aerodromerc will be the next kit?

I don't really know anything about these kits but I agree with Degreen. Build the Pfalz because its different.

He must be an outsider, not hooked like the rest of us on WWI. LOL

That is a nice looking plane.

Lets see, square the nose some, change the shape of the tail feathers, put black crosses on it and call it a Junkers C or D type. LOL

Well that would make a good Junkers D type. Here is my GWS Tiger Moth.

If the people in this group don't get another WWI plane they get the shakes real bad.

You will find several pictures of my build starting here.

I started with a crashed GWS Tiger Moth given to me by TM4197. He is a great guy.

Look in this thread to find video of it flying.

My wife and I were at a casino and I got picked to go into the cash cube ( a huge plexiglass cube). With the fans blowing money around in tornadic fashion...I managed to grab enough cash to buy the Aerodromerc Fokker E III for yet another winter build!

Sure like the lines of the Phalz. Too many Fokkers out there anyway.

Just broke out the Pfalz kit this weekend. It is going to be sweet. This is my first short kit though...so going slow on the build...but quite fun building from plans! Finished the wings, fuse...had to order some parts for the tail section...but looking good.
