Afterburners simulated edf exhaust light kit
Because of the extreme brightness, the colors don't show up as well on video. the start with Blue on the innermost area, followed by white, then yellow and finally red toward the back edge. They duplicate the effect of real afterburners and can be chained together for twin applications too. These aren't some dinky little light kit, these are for the extreme shock factor.  Just a follow up, the SR-71 prototype kit is complete. There is a new module that allows you to hook up to 4s mainpower so no seperate power source is needed. They hook up to main power, plug into the throttle channel and parallel your edf's throttle input. Production kits available very soon. Thanks guys....... this is a kit that I'm putting into production. The beta test stage is just starting. The Afterburners kits will be available in two versions. The short kit contains the afterburners lighting unit only, the user adds the final items needed for hookup depending on the application. Full instructions and needed parts list is provided to keep initial costs low.
The full kit will have the afterburners lighting unit plus the controller. beta test prices are: 68-70mm fan size only Short kit- $39 full kit- $52 Retail will likely be in the $75-$80 range, depending on options. I'm only offering a handful of these for beta testing, let me know for sure if you want to reserve a set. I'll be accepting paypal, send me a PM for the address. you could use a seperate small 3 cell pck if you want to, the full kit is designed to wire into your main power lead so no battery is needed. The first beta run already shipped out, I'm going to offer a second round of 70mm kits for those that want to get a set.
