Default Top FLite P51 60size Electric - Motor Choice

Hi there,

Just purchased this kit and was wondering if anyone has any motor suggestions for an 8s setup please. Was thinking of an equiv to the Power 90 or Power 110...

Any help really appreciated

Look forward to hearing your thoughts

Kind regards,

hard to suggest a setup what with the huge choices out there, but with out a doupt go 90power. i put a powerup 60 eflite in an 8 pound sig hog with a castle c 100amp ice on 6 cell. plenty of power with a 16" e prop, but most glow flyers who built the hog went 90 4strokes or bigger.

suggestion will be everything from hobbyking to hackers, cheaper esc's to castle[or others equal quality]. my suggestion would be middle road for a nice buil like yours, don't go cheap!!!

eflight power 90,100amp castlecreations ice[good up to 8cell],or the cc hv ice 100amp[$$$]

the power 90 calls for an 85amp esc,the CC 100amp ice is a good comfort zone for the money.
