Default Where to Purchase the new FMS/Airfield T-28?

I saw two new T-28s flying at eWeek and would really like to get one. Nitroplanes is the only place I know to purchase one and they are out of the Rx ready Navy version. Anyone know of another place to purchase these.

Flaps, retracts with door sequencers, scale prop...just gorgeous when flying.

Thanks!!

I just looked and they seem to be in stock. The ARF with fixed gear is out, as is the RxR AF version. The one I saw is $220 and is RxR.

These guys, SN Hobbies, in Canada have them. And they offer free shipping to the USA as well.

I've ordered through them in the past and they are reliable for FMS parts.

Still a n00b, but already an expert at crashing

Thanks for the info, I had probably ordered from NP about two minutes before your post! Keep them in find for future planes and parts!

Love the look of the plane but disappointed in the quality of the parts. Had three bad servos (two gear door servos and one flap servos). At first I thought instead of servos the gear door issue was due to a bad sequencer but after running some test determined it was the servos and a friend gave me a couple of HK's HXT900s and they seem to work great on the gear doors so ordered a few more of those for flaps as well.

Tried dealing with NitroPlanes support for a while and they just got back to me after 3 and half weeks and 3 emails discussing the problems and letting them know it was the servos they sent me another sequencer. Probably a good thing that I have a spare sequencer now and I really didn't want the same servos they are using in the plane.

The president of our club but the Air Force version and on the maiden flight we noticed the same issue with the gear doors.

Great looking plane and flies great too, but I would be willing to pay a few more dollars for some better quality servos.

Anytime I buy a RxR or RTF, the first thing I do is scrap the aweful servos and install either HS-55's or HS-81's depending on the control surface. On my Dynam DC-3, the premolded servo pockets fit HS-81MG's perfectly. The one place I don't get cheap is servos. I would rather spend an extra $30.00 - $40.00 on quality servos. You have a less than perfect quality Motor, all it does is quit, it does not lock into full defection and cause the "DEATH SPIRAL" I have a Second Hand H9 1/4 scale Cub (The Old Fabric Covered one. that was given to me that I'm electrifing. The covering on the Fuse is a bit tattered, but I'm going to recover it with Ceconite from Aircraft Spruse and apply a new Paint Job. Like This one.

It is going to be Powered by a HobbyPartz Gens ACE Mars Brushless Motor Mars-BL5953-225KV w/90A ESC Combo for RC Airplanes http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-mars-b...90a-combo.html 12s1p 5000 30c Lipos and HS5645MG Digital Servos. I will also be useing a 2s1p 5000 with a Castle regulator. The extra weight won't matter because I need weight to balance the Cub.

Check with electrifiedhobbies on ebay. They are an Airfield Distributor. Don't always have the same low prices as Nitro but I bought from them before and they are reliable.
