http://gwsprops.com/electric_combat_...as_seen_on.htm It's a 'combat foamie'; but since the website doesn't offer more specifics, what would be some good all-around motor choices for it? I'd run 3S, either my 1000mah or my 1350mah. Thanks! Jeff |

the grayson combo will work, but the KVs are to low for a combat plane, here is a great 1800KV micro motor form HK and a 30 amp esc, use a 7x6 APC prop and a prop adapter, cut the prop shaft so the prop adapter fits flush with the motors bell collar, that will help to prevent the long motor shaft from bending.
here is an example of this motor with a 7x6 apc prop on 3 cells, a 1350 mah 25C lipo will work great, i use this combo all the time, it works great, dont worry about pushing this motor, as it has thick windings in it, i push them to 20 amps and 220 watts all the time with no faliures. thats Wattflyer Kosh and his plane with this micro motor on 3 cells. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5430 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ontroller.html use a 30 amp esc, because it will stay cooler and last longer, http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ler_7x6_E.html 3mm prop adapter http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...t_collet_.html 7x6 APC Prop this the biggest prop that can be used, a 7x4 and 7x5 APC prop works well too http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...-7-x-6E/Detail |
