funjet 145+mph video

i'v got a funjet on order from headsuprc and batteries coming from hk usa warehouse...all should arrive next week and my need for speed will continue to grow. a buddy of mine who flys helies,delta's and a funjet thats been clocked over 160mph is powered by 6 cell lipo and this video actualy came out pretty good for not being able to follow it to well. i like the other planes flying around at the same time at normal speeds and then theres the funjet...very cool!

the setup i'm getting from headsuprc was flown by jeff and pushs the limits as far as watts goes,but he's had over 30 flights and still flys it.he used a 5x5prop and 80 ampesc and 4cell lipo. clocked it doing 125mph on level run and jeff thinks the ultra funjet might go a little faster. the motor is a powerup 450 jet brushless,and i may prop down to 4.5x4.5 so i can use a 60ampesc turnigy plush thats sitting in a drawer waitting to be used. if needed i'll go 80ampesc and use th 5x5 prop. the batteries will be 4cell 2800mah 30/40c zippies. the servos are emax 12g mg's.

hope this video works ,it's a total rush to watch amed fly the funjet on the field,the video doesn't do the fj justice ...enjoy!!

Hey Stu, that was awesome. You are the 1st one that have been able to video it. Others have tried and failed.

your welcome Ahmed,and thanks for trying to Doppler my funjet yesterday. i just realized the slow moving delta in the video is Ron's stryker.....,talk about comparing the to together..lol.compared to the other planes flying,they are extremely slow.now if only i could get someone to video the parkjet i crashed and repaired already. not planning on flying it today.

You need my Andrejs .... don't know how he manages it - but he does quite well.
He'll be video'ing my June 17th flights IF things go OK and she survives the maiden before then.

If any out there has a f j battery hold down plate from a crashed plane please let me know, Need one bad for another project.

Can't you make one ?

The plate in my Lanyu T45 snapped ... couple of Ice Lolly (popsicle's I think you US cousins call them ?) sticks soon had it back better than before !
