Default 2012: Year to Build or More Balsa Less Foam

Well fellas 2011 is almost over and with it goes all of our boasts and empty promises to build this plane or that. We've all been guilty of it at one time or another. No shame there.

What say we post here our lists of what might be. Let's make 3 each:
1) Dream Builds
2) Probable Builds
3) Definite Builds
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Lists:

Dream List:
Dave Johnson 1/4 scale Fokker E. V
1/4 scale Dh 1/2
1/6 scale Rumpler C IV
1/6 scale Pfalz D. XII
1/6 scale Be2 or Be12
Mike Midkiff Zeppelin-Lindau CS-1

Probable Builds:
Dare/Tritle Sopwith Triplane
Midkiff/Ozark Se5a 27" span
DPC/Aerowerkes Bristol M1c 23" span

Definite Builds:
DPC/Aerowerkes Fokker Dr 1
Fokker D VIII micro scratchbuild
Manzano Laser/Peter Rake Bristol M1c

I'm tossing another list up here too.
Planes I'll refurbish/rebuild to flying condition:
Balsa USA 1/6 scale Bristol M1c
Ben Buckle 1/6 scale Fokker EV/D VIII
Nieuport 11scratchbuilt from enlarged Guillows plans

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to all!

Mike

Seems to be more than a few enemy RED planes on that list..lol
I promised my Frau I wouldn't buy any more planes until I flew the Hanger queens I have flying from my basement ceiling.
So I bought a Sensei and will be getting some lessons in the New Year. Dumb me I loaded all my stuff in the RV headed to the deep south where the sun shines all day and forgot my TX..DoH..Anyway awaiting the big brown truck to deliver it then on with the lessons.
Once I get capable I want to build/get an Albatross DV. I was looking at the D111 from Maxford but alas it is RED..too red..oh well..
Good luck in 2112 with your dream list.

I was at an indoor meet yesterday, my first time flying inside, and seeing all of those Albatros' and Dr1's buzzing about had me thinking how cool it would have been to have a bomber lumbering about. If it could fly somewhere in speed between the new FZ Dr1 and a Vapor it would be just right.
