Default Can you identify this ESC?

I have an ESC that a friend gave me and it has the following number on it E203950 and after that it has what appears to be WOER it's black and looks heftier than a 35-40 AMP but I'm not sure. With those number and the attached picture anyone have and ideas what this might be, AMP rating, etc.?

Thanks,
Jeff

A quick google search reveals that number is the part number for the heat shrink tubing, not the ESC...

Not sure what you have there.

Yeah, i've come accross people who think they have 'Woer' ESC's before.. In reality Woer is a Chinese manufacturer of heatshrink tubing

The ESC could be almost anything, the general shape resembles a HobbyWing but the only way to confirm if it was would be to hook up a HobbyWing programming card and see if it works. I guess you could also set it into programming mode (usually start it with full throttle) and see what brand of ESC any beep codes it makes conforms to. But that could be a time consuming process, and it still wont tell you the rating.

Pretty funny that my "number" is the heat shrink tube! Never thought of that! My main question is to try to determine the AMP rating. If I removed the shrink tube is there any indication inside that would help with that?

Compared to the size and weight of typical esc in the 25-30 amp range this is longer, a bit wider, and thicker. I was hoping this is at least a 40 amp.

What gauge are the battery and motor wires... if it is as much as 40A the battery wires should be about 13ga........and the motor wires 16ga.
