Also I need to discharge it some. What would be a safe discharge rate for it? |

I read a good storage charge is around 3.8v/cell, so 15.2v for a 4 cell.
As far as discharge rates, I prefer to discharge them while flying! I think it's the same calculations as when you are picking a battery for a model. You'll probably be more limited by your charger/discharger capacity. |

3.7 volts is the nominal voltage of a LiPo cell. 4.2 volts is the fully charged voltage. Anything between 3.7 and 3.9 volts is a safe storage voltage though most favor 3.8-3.85. It's not an exact thing.
