Default You know you're an RC addict when...

You have two planes to maiden, one scratchbuilt airliner and one a F-16 edf arf and yet you go ahead a hit the "submit order" tab on HK.

Just pulled the trigger on the new Durofly DH-88 Comet Racer. 1120mm WS Twin with counter rotating props, retracts, lights etc.

Is there a clinic I can go to ?

Dang it! Now I want that plane, and I didn't even know it existed two minutes ago.

I suffered this illness years ago ..... then I was cured.

But like a druggie .... I drifted back again after seeing a 2ch POS in a supermarket ..... my wife reckoned a dreamy look came over my face and I was away with the $%^&*( !! ...... $30 later box under arm - I was back addicted ....

As dahawk knows .... I just hit the tit on various models ..... I'm now considering sorting my trailer to take the spill over from my volvo estate that is now too small to carry them all even with all back seats down ..........

Addicted ? Moi ?? Never .....

Yeah my other half is always telling me i'm an RC addict and i buy to many planes.

If she can get me in a rehab i'd be more than willing to go,but it's got to have a hanger for my many planes and a real good flying field.

For "other half" .... a designer bag ... odd spending spree stops the Wifey comments about how much spent ... !!

Costs me $500 a month but I have a handyman who lives on site .... he looks after that rubbish - 3.5 acres of grass cutting, painting, decorating, walking the dogs, etc. etc. ... lets me get on with inmportant stuff - FLYING !

Honest !! It's actually the Builder who didn't finish all the work on the house. With downturn in latvia economy etc. his work dried up and he now is finishing my house over time and I also have handyman services ....

You HAVE a 1.5 meter thermal glider that you've only flown twice, have a 2M and a 100" thermal glider new in boxes to build, you're looking at 3 meter thermal planes in the Classifieds......and you're "not really into Thermal ships"

(don't panic - I don't land the planes)

Jeff,

You're an extreme case. Might have to place you in intensive care ! -

Now Nigel has it figured out, living the high life in Latvia ! Servants at his beck and call and and occasional bribe to his wife.

Me? I just tell her who is King ! When I come home from a hard day of flying, I expect her to have cocktails ready and a ribbon in her hair !

Yeah right ! LMAO.

It's the other away around for me Nigel,i use to get moaned at all the time from the X but now i get the cup of tea and breakfast in bed from the currant Mrs,but only because she works nights in an old peoples home and as she does hers when she comes in on a morning, she then brings mine up.

Now Nigel i wish i could live like you do mate and have someone else to all my odd jobs around the house, then it would leave me even more time for this hobby of ours, there again could the odd job man be doing more of the odd jobs than i want him too.
Only joking mate but you have got it well worked out my friend.

I told my wife just the other day, "From now on, I'm the man of this home and my word is law. When I come home from work I want dinner on the table. Now, get upstairs and lay out some clothes on the bed because I'm going out with the guys tonight. Then draw my bath. When I get out of the tub, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?"

Her reply? "The undertaker!!!"

Why is Divorce so expensive?
