Yes, bigger wheels will help you land in the grass, but so will a bit of technique. As you are landing, keep about 5-8% on the throttle. At the same time, keep just a bit of up elevator applied. The prop wash going over your raised elevator will help plant the tail and prevent nose overs. It takes some getting used to, as you have to change how much and when you flare for landings, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.
