Default East Coast Indoor Modelers Hindenburg Hangar

Two weeks ago I joined an awesome old club called the East Coast Indoor Modelers. The club was formed in 1931 but the original modelers began flying in Hangar 1 (Hindenburg Hangar) in 1926. It over 800' long internally x 250' wide x 180' high.

Here are some pics.

www.ecim.net for details. Lakehurst, NJ. Flying allowed on weekends and federal holidays. Must be AMA, must be ECIM member. Once you're on the club roster you can go to the base on a weekday to get a base pass to fly on weekends.

Have they 'fessed up as to the largest plane they've flown in there?

Looks like my 5lbs trainer would do just fine!
