Default 12V LED's...what's the brightest out there?

Hi all, been a while since I was last on so thought I'd better show my face
I am now a camera operator for a Droidworx SJ8 octo, but we seem to be having afew orientation problems!!! We tried 12V LED's designed for car interiors, but in good daylight they suck! So does anyone know of a quality LED that will take 12V but give meggar power output?

These are absolutely the brightest that I could find, but they are strobes!! @ post #2, but go to post #15, GG had some good ones, but I never found anything brighter than these too, and in full sun, not too good, cloudy days were marginal but definitely better.......

Never really found anything bright enough that didn't weigh a ton or way expensive!!

maybe someone else has a better idea or found something better......

found these too

There are a LOT of different types of LED's out there, some are so bright it's not wise to look directly at them when they are lit up. They do get expensive for the higher powered ones.

www.digikey.com in the USA has tens of thousands of different types of led's, some of the super bright ones are listed in this search.

http://search.digikey.com/us/en/cat/.../525140?k=leds

I've never purchased any of these, but their specs indicate do not look directly at the lit up LED, eye damage may result. Guess that might be bright enough???

THe LED's that NitroPlanes and HobbyPartZ sells are the ones I prefer.

Plenty bright on 3 cells. Almost TOO bright~!

This photo was taken in the shade, on a bright day.

Also Kristy, I grabbed a tail boom from a previously crashed heli, and that alone solved my orientation issues quite easily.

Electricity... It's not just for light bulbs anymore.
