Default Binding to multiple rx.

I have the Turnigy 9x radio system and 2 seperate rx to go with it. I have one in my senior telemaster and it has been flying wonderfully!! I am building a katana now and have another rx to use for this plane. I am just a bit confused as to how to determine what plane I am bound to?? I know I can set the trans on like "plane 2" to utilize those settings and Plane one to utilize the settings for the current Telemaster. But do I have to have the trans set on "plane 2" when I bind that rx? Or will the trans be able to potentially transmitt to both rx's if they are both powered up at the same time?? In other words if I bind with the radio set on plane 2 will it only transmit to that rx when set on plane 2?? Help fellas!!

Anyone??? I know the trans binds uninquely to each rx but will the trans be able to trans nit to more than one rx at one time if both are powered up??

Generally, Tx with multiple model memories will uniquely bind each model memory to a different rec.

You absolutely have to set your model memory to the correct number and bind the reciever to that memory.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

When you bind a receiver, you are telling the receiver what transmitter to listen to. You can bind an infinite number of receivers to most transmitters.

All 2.4Ghz systems except Spektrum and those JR with a Spektrum module installed, will actuate all the receivers that they have been setup with.
Accordingly, if two or more receivers previously setup with that transmitter are switched on and powered up, all will operate the respective servos and any other add ons such as ESC, irrespectibe of which model memory is selected.
e.g. Optima Transceiver (RX) - Dual Redundant receivers

Spektrum has a Model Match feature which does not permit a receiver to actuate unless it receives the right code relating to its own model memory in TX.
Sanwa/Airtronics SD10G has "Safety Link", however it only works with the 10 channel FHSS-3 rx.

Good to know. Safety is key, wouldn't want anyone to loose a finger or worse.

OK - The Turnigy 9X is actually the FlySky with a new label.

It will bind with as many Rx's as you like ... MORE than the 8 memory firmware. How ? It does not have Model match or model specific Rx memory. Any Rx bound to the Tx will operate no matter what memory is selected IF powered.

So when finished with a model - un-power it ... then choose another mdel and change memory slot in your TX which wi the one you used to trim / set-up it up.

There are advantages and disadvantages with this .... Advantage is that you can actually have more than 1 Rx in a large model ... and still operate on same memory. Saves all those long cable runs and gives really good control redundancy ..
Disadvantage is that if you forget to de-power a model when operating another ........... I did it !! - you have both working !! can be embarrassing ...
