The usual trick for a lost canopy, (if it's a simple one), is to cut one out of a clear plastic drinks bottle. Often you can find a bottle size and shape that is close enough.

The EZ Hawk is the same plane as the Hawk Sky I do believe.

Thanks for the info. We had a really bad thunder storm and luckily the very heavy rain/wind brought it down from a pine tree
I will remember the info for future mishaps. Now it is sporting a rubber band fix.Mike |

Hi there,
I would like to use my new lipo battery that came with my Sonic on my Typhoon.. The problem though is connection to the battery. New from Sonic has 'barrel' like, while Typhoon's old type (NI-MH old battery) used different one (white with natch on side) ... I'm thinking about buying some kind of adapter... (GPMM3130???). Any opinions? My Typhoon's NiMh battery is rated as 10.8V, and 1000mha, while the new one is 11.1V with 2200mha, 25C - the voltage is just slightly higher, but the same 11.1V battery I've seen recommended by ParkZone for the lipo battery for Typhoon - so I'm assuming 0.3V difference is not a problem here... Again, any opinion would gr8tly be appreciated! |

OK - so I we'll answer fyi to my all question that I found answers:
1) For Typhoon (or any other plane) when switching from Ni-Hd to LiPo battery one need to reprogram ESC - set new cutoff voltage, and if you like you can change other parameters - for instance - put your breaker on 2) You can order : 5CM Turnigy HXT 4MM Female to Tamiya Male Connector / Adapter - 14awg wire ![]() |
