Default 100 Degree Rotating Retracts for TopFlite F4U Corsair

I need retracts for this soon-to-be-built electric Top Flite F4U Corsair. Has anyone used the 100 Degree rotating retracts? If so, do you have recommendations on which brand will best handle the weight (10-11 lbs) and be most reliable? Any brands to stay away from? Thanks.

Down & Locked sells conversions of the Robart. Robart has their own. Have you looked for what's out there yet or just came here?... ;^)

Yes, I have been looking . . . but since I have never built a plane with retracts (I'm in the very early stages of career), I thought I'd ask the experts :-D

E-flite, wingspan retracts and rc lander retracts should all give you good results. The large size rotating retracts from pw-rc will also work and are very cost effective.

Umm, E-flite doesn't offer a set of rotating retracts in the 60 and up scale.*
Philip's, at PW-RC I don't think will handle a 10 pound bird, the FMS birds are right @ 5 pounds.

The rc lander look interesting, ad is a little confusing though. Says retract, yet photo shows two, for $199. I sent em an email to check on it.

Other then that you have the high dollar LADO's and a couple others.

I still haven't installed a set on my TF Corsair, she's still running around on straight gear.

* Must be a bug with E-flite's version. If you buy their retracts, they list part numbers in the paperwork for a 60+ size rotating retract, and have so for over a year. Yet none seem to exist yet.

I even contacted Horizon on them a couple of times, couldn't get a straight answer as to when.

When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, in his sleep...... Not screaming like the passengers in his plane.

The PW-RcC retracts are good for models up to 11lbs. He is out of stock on the rotating large version.

Hobbyking has the RCLander retracts like the ones you looked at but they are out of stock also. The site you looked at, lower down they explain the pricing for mains only.

The e-flite 60-120 90 retracts will fit your corsair as they fit the H9 60 & 50 size corsairs.

Sierra Precision offer the best available rotating retract for this size model in my opinion. They will easily handle the weight of the TF Corsair, even on rough terrain.
