Default Two Radio questions

Can an E-Flight LP5DSM radio be used as an airplane transmitter?

Can the reciever from a Blade CP Pro be replaced with the Spektrum one to convert it to 2.4g technology so I can use my Spektrum DSM8 Transmitter?

Not familiar with your TX, but it should work just fine for a plane.

Yes, you can change the RX to Spektrum.

Actually your LP radio - (short for Low Power) is not OK for use with planes, unless you keep them very close. It was intended for use for small micro stuff that stays close.

I don't recall the range but you will easily exceed the max range with a larger plane.

I've done both things that you ask.
I used the TX for my vapor (small plane--close in flying)
and I put a Spektrum receiver in my CP Pro too.

No problem.

Helicopters don't really fly.......
They're just so ugly, that the earth repels them.
