Good luck!

Didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night, but have to agree, the 450 may get her up in the air, but it will struggle the whole time.
As for the 3536. After reading up on it, not a three thumbs up motor. Read one report on a Trojan with the stock prop, said it flew quite well. Other then that one, a boat load of failed bearings and poor magnet gluing reports. I know, cheap, but there is a point where cheap can get expensive if it costs you a plane. Why not check out the classified ads, here and on RCG. I see the stock motors all the time up for sale with folks repowering their Trojans. Nice bird, it deserves a good power system. |

I have had very good luck with my 3536. It has been mounted on my old school PZ Spit for alot of flying with no issues. I will look for a stock power plant though, if nothing else, then I won't have the expense of a special mount.

Took your advice Glacier, found a stock motor for 30 bucks and I already have an ESC, so I will be ready to roll. Thanks everyone for the advice.

![]() Here's a video i put together of what i did to my old PZ spitty and how she came out, note the motor i used. link under last comments. No i don't have no Commercial Affiliation with Hobbyking but if it wasn't for them then i would have no where near as many planes in the air flying thats why i stand up for them as often as i can. ![]() http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1367652 |

Beautiful bird startazz. I love the paint scheme. Sometimes I am afraid to fly mine anymore as you cannot get parts anywhere for this thing. It flies like a scalded dog with that motor in it though. My first plane and I still have it...it has seen a few bumps and bruises though.

Yep mine has seen it's fare share of the knocks and so on but thats all part of it,but to be honest i think i over did it with the 3536 motor as it was way faster than i needed, still handy when i wanted it.

I maidened my T-28 today. I put a 2200 all the way in to the battery bay, slightly nose heavy and it flew great. What an enjoyable plane this is. Relaxing but aerobatic enough to keep it interesting. The stock motor is good enough for me for the time being. This will definitely be my trunk plane.

Tarheal.... when you decide you want a lil more put an APC 10x10e prop on that thang!! Will have to cut flight times to about 6:00 mins but quite worth the ride compared to stock.
Also I am doing fine with throws set at 120% (much better rolls). BTW... Should have my new SK3 (760watt) motor for my T-28 very soon, and Plush 60A esc.... so will have a stock motor and esc for sale soon if anyone needs them. Ray |

Put two flights in on the T-28 this morning and it was a moving bird. About six months ago, I had a spare EFlite Power 32 sitting around and a 40 a esc so I put those in with a 12x 8 APC, but left it as a 3S system. Moved along pretty well but was really stressing the batteries. One of the guys in my club was watching it fly a week or so ago and said he would try moving it up to a 4S system to see what it does. Ran it today with the Power 32, a 50a Castle ESC, an APC 11x7 prop and a 4S 2600 battery. Due the new components and a lot of repairs, it is a bit heavy, about 37 ounces without the battery, but the thing moves like the proverbial bat of *ell, and the batteries come down barely warm after about 6 minutes. Static current draw at full throttle is about 42-43 amps on a fresh battery. The wing was epoxied on to the fuse a long time ago so no worries there. Also modded it a while back to a tail dragger, sort of resembles an A1E Skyraider if you don't look too closely
