Default Biplane balancing

How do you balance a biplane? Under the upper wing or the lower wing upside
down.

Under the upper wing right side up is easiest.

I've had WW1, 1930's style, fighters, pursuit and general sport as well as Pitts and Skymasters ......... they all seem to be happy with right way up and by using top wing.
Where - as Jet says is the crucial bit and it's funny that near all come out similar with CoG about the mid point or a few mm in front of mid pt. of the top wing except where odd ones have top and bottom wings near vertically in line - then it's balanced same as a single wing job ... 1/3rd chord.
Even my ultimate is just about mid pt of top wing.
